Our Story

Founded in late 2010 in an old house in Joburg with no agents on our books, Awesim started small.

A handful of us offloaded SIM cards, shipped parcels and created agents. As the team grew, we built systems from scratch and moved to larger offices in 2013. Now with more than 80 staff, Awesim remains a family-oriented company, offering anybody an opportunity to earn through hard work.

Committed to our purpose of doing the best for our agents and our staff, our daily goal is to understand how we can make our agents’ lives better. Everything we do is guided by our values: Have respect, Take care, Go the extra mile, Be a team player and Choose what is right.

These values define how we work with one another, how we serve our agents, and understand that their hard work, along with our support, is how we grow - together.
